Amber Ray

Here's Amber from last night's Go Figure who was cold at first, but then warmed up after we got another heater thanks to Anna, and turned on the big heater in the back of the loft. We had some new people come who all do animation- it was good to have them.

Carla

Here's a few of Carla from last night's Go Figure. I started to lose it at the end, I think- I was getting distracted by multiple sources of noise and it was hard to concentrate. We had a TV going in the background, someone's stereo, our music, and people talking. What can you do?
Go Figure.

One more Lady J

This is the last one of the night- Lady J with nunchucks. I didn't completely finish it, but I still like the way it came out, although it's probably not up to the standards of a Crabapple show.

LADY J-The Assassin!

Here's some drawings of the great Lady J or Lady Lovely as a weapons wielding assassin at last nights' GO FIGURE. She got into some really great and challenging positions, and later commented that she didn't want to be boring. That's probably the last description of Lady J on anybody's mind. She's never boring....and always lovely.

Here's Amy from last night's Go Figure. She had some great poses- and some really difficult poses to hold, like the one where she's upsidedown for 20 minutes, so we thank her.
The last one is a caricature of Peter Griffin, my old roommate, who I haven't seen in about a year and stopped by to do some drawing.

Marianne

Here's a few drawings of Marianne at last night's Go Figure; the first is a quick, one min. pose of her doing some Tai Chi moves, and the next 2 are longer poses. The last one is a caricature I did of Mary(Marie) Griffin on the subway going home. I just can't seem to stop doing caricatures every since I came back from the Caricature Convention in Reno, Nevada last week. More will be posted on the "Everybody's Gotta Be In a Gang" blog...

Dottie Lux

Here's Dottie Lux at our new space for Go Figure at 97 Wyckoff Ave. in Bushwick. It's a great space and I'm greatful to the roommates there for letting us use the sapce- and participating!

Sheila

Here's the amazing Sheila from last night's Go Figure. I did a caricature of her for the first time after drawing her for years. Her face is very unique and often difficult to get a likeness, but I like the way this one came out.
This could be our last Go Figure for a while- at least until we get another space. Shea needs her apartment to do some work for her new architecture classes...
If anybody knows of any space that we could use, let me know. Thanks.

Dr. Tenzin

Here's the peaceful Dr. Tenzin at last night's Go Figure. He is originally from Tibet, is a Buddhist Monk and a Doctor of Tibetan Medicine. He is touring the country doing medical consultations. His monestary is in south India. My friend, Troy reffered me to him and he was kind enough to sit for our drawing group.
It went well, and I think everybody left a little calmer than when entering. Osha made a great Vegan meal- a veggie pot pie and homemade cookies. Every week her meals top the last week.
